We ALL get stuck sometimes, but if you are reading this, part of you wants help! As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I am working with clients age 18 and older, on issues clients feel are negatively impacting their sense of self, causing interpersonal challenges at home, work and in various social contexts.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and struggles with life transitions- – such as the empty nest, going off to college, illness, loss, divorce, or past and present trauma. With a Christian world view, many of my clients value our work in the context of their religious convictions, and sadly, religious trauma may also be part of why they are asking for help. I meet clients where they are; it’s about them, not me.
As a person dedicated to personal and professional growth, I am using more and more modalities that center on trauma informed attachment, family systems, and self-compassion approaches. DBT is also a great resource for skills work and is used where appropriate. I’m following science, integrating mind and body connections, and I’m seeing positive results.
I enjoy working with those who are willing to look within themselves, are working towards self-discovery, and improved personal autonomy. In addition to my training, I offer a relationally safe space, curiosity and compassion. We work at your pace. Everyone comes with a story, but with dedication and persistence they can build resilience, increased emotional freedom and a brighter future.
Are you ready? We can do this together!
